INNOVATIVE APPLICATIONS OF RECYCLED RUBBER |

With reference to innovative applications of recycled rubber, the realization of multifunctional and multivalent flat roofs, is an architectural trend that is becoming increasingly developing in nothern Europe. Play areas, sports fields and relaxion areas are the objectof the creativity of many architects who, through the use of recycled rubber, can transform a flat roof of a building into an architectural and innovative solution. The percentage of recycled rubber used can be up to 90%. In some cases, a percentage of EPDM rubber isused for the surface parts. Some design solutions developed at international level are presented.
